Hi, I'm Joe Hardy

John Joseph Hardy
Joe Hardy has spent thirty years at the center of American political life — on Capitol Hill, in the defense industry, and in the corridors of K Street. He served as a legislative assistant to Senator Barbara Boxer on the Senate Budget Committee and to Congressman Adam Smith on the House Armed Services Committee, where he developed a deep fluency in how power actually works in Washington.
But the work that defines him most personally is JobRECOVERY.org — a national initiative he built to connect addiction recovery with workforce development. He drafted the Jobs Plus Recovery Act, earned bipartisan Senate sponsorship, and keynoted the Congressional Addiction, Treatment and Recovery Caucus. It was the work of someone who knew the system well enough to challenge it.
Now he's channeling all of it into Turn 72 Films. Joe is a Democrat — proudly, and without apology — and in this cycle he's putting his company in service of that conviction. Turn 72 will be on the ground for the midterms, producing for the campaigns and progressive organizations fighting to take back the House and advance the policy agenda he's spent a career believing in.

My approach
Speed Is the Strategy
Your opponent just dropped a hit piece. It's 6 PM. Your phones are ringing, your inbox is full, and your consultant is already on the line demanding a response ad by morning.
No Templates. No Packages.
A rapid-response campaign ad has nothing in common with a trade association's annual video or a law firm's client pitch. Every project is built from scratch because your message isn't generic — your video shouldn't be either.
Quality Isn't Negotiable
Fast doesn't mean corners cut. Every project gets the same lens, the same eye, the same standard. Cinematic quality and political speed are not mutually exclusive. We built Turn 72 to prove it.
